Corporate Sales Executive / Sr Corporate Sales Executive

Reports To: Head of Sales

Location: Delhi / Mumbai

Compensation: commensurate with experience

The job is to generate additional sales revenue and profits through non-conventional channels via sales of existing products to corporates, organizations and institutions and/or create custom product as required by clients in keeping with the Publisher’s list philosophy.

The Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the Publisher’s list and mapping out products suitable for corporates
  • Researching and identifying sales opportunity, generating leads, target identification and classification
  • Reaching out to new corporate and institutional customers and making presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of product/ services.
  • Understanding client requirements and then customizing the product/ services as per their needs
  • Maintaining relationship with all potential and existing clients
  • Ensuring proper servicing and after sales support to clients
  • Data reporting to management and gathering market intelligence
  • Oversee the sales process at each stage (liaising with depts. concerned) from quote to purchasing to fulfillment and follow up
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues Requirements

Competencies and Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; high degree fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand client's needs and present solutions.
  • Attention to Detail, Time Management, Planning & Organizing, Communication, Adaptability & Result Oriented Understanding of market and product
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Travel as required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree MBA /
  • 2 – 5 years of corporate sales experience preferred
