Associate / Senior Associate — Digital Marketing

Hachette India

Location: Gurgaon (5 days from office, 10am–6pm)

Experience: 2–5 years

Hachette India is looking for an Associate / Senior Associate in Digital Marketing to join our marketing team. This is a high-ownership role for someone with proven expertise in Amazon Advertising and Meta Ads who also has a strong feel for social media and broader digital channels and ideally, a love of books.

What you'll do

Amazon Advertising (core)

  • Plan, execute and optimise Amazon Advertising campaigns for Hachette India and international titles — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display
  • Own campaign budgets, monitor spend and deliver clear performance reports with actionable insights
  • Stay on top of Amazon's evolving ad formats and identify opportunities to improve discoverability and conversion

Meta Advertising (core)

  • Build and manage Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns to drive awareness and sales for Hachette titles
  • Handle audience targeting, creative briefing, A/B testing and budget optimisation
  • Track and report on performance with a focus on continuous improvement

Social Media

  • Own the Hachette India social media presence — strategy, content planning, scheduling and community management across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant channels
  • Develop platform-specific content and track performance metrics

Website & CMS

  • Manage and update the Hachette India website, ensuring content is current, accurate and well-presented
  • Work within the CMS to publish title pages, campaign landing pages, author features and other marketing content
  • Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to keep the site aligned with frontlist priorities and ongoing campaigns

Other Digital Channels

  • Run Google Ads campaigns (search, display) as needed
  • Support broader digital marketing initiatives led by the Head of Marketing & Publicity

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with demonstrable expertise in Amazon Advertising and Meta Ads — these are non-negotiable
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts end-to-end, not just content creation
  • Hands-on experience with a CMS (WordPress or similar) and a comfort with basic web content management
  • Strong analytical skills — you're comfortable with dashboards, budgets and performance data
  • Excellent written English and a feel for brand voice
  • Familiarity with tools like Amazon Advertising Console, Meta Business Suite and scheduling/analytics platforms
  • Google Ads experience is a plus
  • A genuine interest in books and publishing is a big plus

What you'll get

  • Full ownership of the digital marketing function at one of the world's leading publishers
  • The chance to work across a diverse list — Indian authors, international bestsellers and everything in between
  • Direct mentorship from the Head of Marketing & Publicity
  • A collaborative, ideas-forward team environment
