Nigel Warburton
Nigel Warburton is a freelance philosopher, writer, and podcaster. Best known as the co-founder and main interviewer for the Philosophy Bites podcast (which has had over 42 million downloads worldwide), he is the author and editor of many books, including the bestseller A Little History of Philosophy, Philosophy: The Basics, Philosophy: The Classics, Thinking from A to Z, The Basics of Essay Writing, Philosophy: The Essential Study Skills, Free Speech: A Very Short Introduction, and The Art Question. He is also a consultant Senior Editor for the online magazine Aeon.co. and has written numerous articles for newspapers and magazines such as Guardian, Independent, The New European, Prospect, The Economist, The Times Literary Supplement, Standpoint, The Spectator, New Philosopher, and Aeon. He was also the scriptwriter for the 48-part series of BBC animations History of Ideas.
