Marie Rudisill

Marie Rudisill is the author of eight books including Fruitcake Memories of Truman Capote and Sook. It was this book that led to her first appearance in 2000 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Two years ago she began giving millions of Americans her own special advice in a regular 'Ask the Fruitcake Lady' slots. Marie died at the age of 95 in Florida. She leaves behind a son and three grandchildren.
