This volume collects all the stories featuring Molly Robertson-Kirk, or 'Lady Molly' one of the earliest women detectives, as narrated by her maid and (friend), Mary Granard whose job like Watson's is to reveal the brilliance of Lady Molly as she solves any case that she is confronted with. Unlike the male police force, often bumbling and not gifted with Lady Molly's feminine intuition and womanly empathy she solves each problem with inductive reasoning and when needed setting traps or donning a disguise to catch the murderer.
