A Tarot deck containing 78 cards divided into two groups. The twenty-two cards of the Major Arcana- which means Greater Secrets- are resonant with the compelling, dream-like images which give the Tarot its mysterious reputation. There is a High Priestess or Female Pope, the Tower Struck by Lightening and the sinister figures of Death and the Devil. The remaining 56 cards make up the four suits of the Minor Arcana- or Lesser Secrets. These closely resemble a deck of playing cards with their kings, queens and aces.
