Bernadette Russell

Bernadette Russell started a blog called 366 Days Of Kindness in 2011 detailing her attempt to be kind every day to a stranger which began as a response to the UK riots of that year. In 2015 she was selected as one of the Southbank Centre's 67 Changemakers for this on-going project which has resulted in two large scale interactive installations (Dear Stranger and Coat Tales) an international touring theatre show (366 Days Of Kindness) a U.S radio documentary (The Kindness of Strangers) and two children's activity books. She is a columnist for Balance magazine writing a monthly musing on the theme of kindness.
