Cleaning with Love Energy: The Japanese Art of Housework with Heart

Maki Kamoya

Maki Kamoya is a Japanese housewife who believes that housework is an act of love. Rather than bringing more pressure for everything to be perfect, she advocates doing what you want, when you want - this is housework without the resentment.

There are chores to be done today, tomorrow and the day after. Sometimes it feels like a never-ending duty. But what if we change our way of thinking? What if we see the true purpose of housework as filling our homes with bright and robust energy? Kamoya explores how housework can be made into an act of love. Everything you do with your heart and love brightens your home. You can give your love to your family, yourself and also to those who do not have words; plants, animals and objects with which you share your home.
