Andy Stewart MacKay

Andy Stewart MacKay is a London-based writer and cultural historian. For the past fifteen years he has taught art and cultural history in galleries and museums including Tate Modern Tate Britain MoMA and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection; and also in schools and universities including the University of London and New York University.

After graduating in Art History from the University of St Andrews he studied cultural criticism at City University of London modernist literature at Leiden University in the Netherlands and trained as an archivist at the University of Glasgow. He has written for AnOther magazine and his first book The Angel of Charleston was published in 2013.
