Caroline Cox

Caroline Cox is an international authority on fashion history whose work explores the relationship between fashion beauty and culture. She is head of cultural studies at the London College of Fashion and conducts lectures in the US UK and Europe. Her books on fashion history and theory include Stiletto Vintage Shoes Lingerie: A Lexicon of Style and How to Be Adored. In 2004 Caroline was awarded a Visiting Professorship in cultural history at the University of the Arts London for her “services to the development of cultural history” in particular for her writing on fashion.
