Alexandra Smith is the owner designer and maker of Lola Nova. She writes the blog Lola Nova - Whatever Lola Wants at http://lolanovablog.blogspot.com/ with subscribers from all over the world. She operates the Lola Nova Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/lolanova. She is a self-taught seamstress and designer and has taught private sewing lessons and led public workshops. Her work and tutorials were featured in the launch issue of the sell-out first issue of hot new craft magazine Mollie Makes and she is now a regular contributor. She lives in a little green cottage in the Pacific Northwest United States with her family some chickens the Buddha cat and an ever-changing population of fish.
