This personal collection of recipes is grouped into chapters that reflect the way we cook today. More than just a cookery book, Annie also discusses how intelligently designed kitchenware not only looks good, but makes cooking easier. Chapters are organised into ocassions such as Grazing, Weekday Suppers, The Sunday Lunch, Summer Eating, The Big Event, Baking Days and Puddings with irresistible recipes ranging from smoked haddock pie, thyme and lemon roasted chicken and spiced lamb cutlets, to turkish delight syllabub, cheesecake brownies and pan-fried stollen with zabaglione. Illustrated with more than 150 photographs, some taken in Annie's London home and others in her Normandy farmhouse, this is very much a personal collection of recipes, and a book to turn to again and again.
